Thursday Night Thunder

Odyssey Oval driver Matthew Pavlik took on the First Gear Racing series at Autoclub speedway. Pav was able to put it on the second row by qualifying 3rd. After a busy start up near the front, Matthew was able jostle for position inside the top ten all the way through to stage 3. The big one hits the field, and Matthew is definitely heavily involved in it and drops back to 21st with 30 laps to go. With a ton of grind, he is able to work his way back up into the top ten, and finishes in 7th after a wild overtime and green/white/checker finish. Overall a solid race for Matthew who is jumping back into Iracing after a break in driving in preparation for his wedding which is upcoming. A pre-emptive congrats to you sir!
